A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.
These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.
Police detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.
The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
